Q.1 I am an existing policy holder, what happens to my policy?

All policies remain valid. Enterprise motor insurance policyholders can still legally drive under these policies.

Please be advised that if an accident occurs and a claim is made, Enterprise cannot make any payment against that claim at this stage of provisional liquidation. Claims are, however, still being processed.

The Provisional Liquidator will be working with the Enterprise staff and claims operations to ensure that the insurance business continues to operate. This includes managing and processing all claims; this applies to claims arising in each of the countries that Enterprise operates in.

If you have a claim, please process the claim as you would have done so before through Enterprise.

We are also liaising with the compensation schemes in each jurisdiction. For further information, refer to the section below 'if you are a policy holder in...'

Q.2 As an existing policyholder, do I need to take any action?

At this stage, claims cannot be paid by Enterprise Insurance Company Plc.

Policyholders are advised to seek their own advice.

Q.3 Can I cancel my motor policy with Enterprise Insurance Company Plc? Do I have the right to a refund of my premium?

The terms and conditions under your existing policy remain applicable. Please see your policy documentation in relation to cancellations.

Individual policyholders should take their own advice as to their next course of action, taking into account the provisions of local compensation schemes. Individual policyholders should note that their policies are still in force until further notice.

If you cancel your policy and are entitled to return of premium, please proceed with this claim with Enterprise Insurance Company Plc. Enterprise cannot make any payment at this stage.

Enterprise is unable to meet claims at this stage. For further information, refer to the section below 'if you are a policy holder in...'

Q.4 I have an existing claim, what happens to this?

If you haven't already submitted a claim, please submit your claim to Enterprise Insurance Company Plc.

Enterprise Insurance Company Plc will be processing claims as usual, please refer to your policy documentation.

For further information, refer to the section below 'if you are a policy holder in...'

Q.5 I want to make a new claim, what should I do now?

Please direct any enquires to the claims number supplied in your policy documentation.

Enterprise will continue to process claims through its claims management agents. Mr White will be taking steps to ensure that Enterprise's assets are secured and available to meet policyholders' claims.

Please be advised Enterprise cannot make any payment for a claim at this stage. Policyholders may wish to seek advice as to alternative insurance policies.

For further information, refer to the section below 'if you are a policy holder in...'
